A beautiful golden beach sunrise over the coast of Assateague Island in Maryland. I found this lonely, small green plant growing out of the sand and wanted to include it in this sunrise image. Considering it was the only thing growing in the sand along this section of the beach, I figured it wouldn't survive very long.
